There are five classroom rules displayed on every classroom in the school. Pupils are expected to behave in accordance with these rules to ensure that teaching and learning is of the highest quality.
Follow the instructions of all members of staff immediately.
Arrive on time, ready for work with the correct books /equipment.
When the teacher speaks, look up, listen and do not talk.
Keep hands / feet, objects and bad language to yourself.
No eating or chewing gum in class
All subject tutors monitor the behaviour of all students during all lessons. Should there be a situation when a student fails to work to these rules it will be indicated in the grid in the organiser.
This information will be monitored weekly. Serious consequences will apply in cases of poor behaviour.
