Our school community is celebrating following the awarding of the Green Flag award this week. We extend our thanks to our Eco-Council, under the guidance of Mrs Maxwell-Lyte, for all their effort and leadership throughout the year whilst preparing for this important award.

Congratulations to Year 7 pupil, Seren Haf Jones, on representing Cardiff City Swimming Club at an International Swimming Gala, held recently in Stuttgart. Seren and her team mates won a Bronze medal at the Gala. Excellent Seren!

Year 8 girls made an outstanding effort to reach the final round of the tournament today although they didn’t win. Congratulations to Bryncelynnog. Every team played excellently and the girl’ conduct, support, and singing were of the highest standard! Gwych!

Yr 8 pupil Megan Hanney was recently invited to report for news channel 'First News'. She was invited to report on the clothes company 'Sea Salt'. What fantastic opportunity and an excellent report which can be viewed by following the link.
