Lessons From Auschwitz 2016
Elinor Rees and Kiera Wedlake, both Year 13 students, have taken part in this year's 'Lessons from Auschwitz' project. The two were very privileged to take part in a workshop held in Cardiff where they listened to Guest Speaker, Eva Clarke, who was born in the concentration camp. On 24.2.16 they travelled to Poland where they visited Auschwitz 1 and Auschwitz-Birkenau. It was an emotional but very memorable visit for them both.

Year 8 study Brazil
As part of their studies this year, Year 8 Geography students have been researching life in Brazil, and in particular, Rochina, an area known as Favelas, common in urban areas of Brazil. Part of the project included recreating living conditions in this area - using a variety of materials such as Lego and textiles. Some of the most impressive work was produced by Megan Fitzgerald, Megan Evans and Lili Griffith. Well done Year 8!
Our sincere thanks go to members of the school Netball squad who helped run and officiate at the recent Glamorgan Valley Netball Tournament, organised by the Urdd.
