A big thank you to the Sixth Form for organizing a Macmillan Coffee/Cake morning raising a healthy sum of over £300 for the Macmillan Charity. Fantastic effort!

Many congratulations to Year 11 student, Jessica Clayton, on being selected as one of the final 10 to represent Wales on an International level through the work of Welsh International Guides. Over 2000 initial applications were received, which makes Jessica’s success even more noteworthy. We know you will be an excellent ambassador Jess!

Congratulations to Year 10 pupil Beth Huntley who has just been included in the Blues U18s squad for 2016/2017 – an exceptional achievement, especially considering that she is still only fifteen years old. Fantastic Beth!

Congratulations to Year 10 pupil, Ffion Kelland, who has been selected as a member of this year's Glamorgan Valleys Netball squad. We are all very proud of your achievement, Ffion - well done!

Warmest congratulations to Year 12 student, Amelia Davies, who has been selected as part of the Welsh Under 17 Netball Squad. Amelia is a very talented player who will also be helping to coach our younger teams this year. Well done Amelia!

During the summer, Charlotte Ivin, Caragh Jacka and Charlotte Ivin have all donated their hair to a cancer charity that makes wigs for children diagnosed with the illness. We are very proud of their selfless and kind act of charity.

Congratulations to Kaycee Napper, of Year 9, on being selected to represent Rhondda Cynon Taff and lead Stage 5 of the Tour of Britain cycling event. A fantastic and deserved opportunity Kaycee – well done!
