Warmest congratulations to all involved in this year’s school production of Hairspray.  The large audiences were treated to a feast of outstanding acting, singing and dancing again this year.  Many thanks to the cast and chorus, all staff involved, the staff at The Park and Dare and to our supportive parents for your continued support.  There will be more pictures, from talented Yr 12 photographer Elinor Rees, on the website soon.

Two of our Year 7 pupils have received the honour of representing their country as  they are included in the Welsh Under 25 Bowling Squad.  This is a fantastic achievement for Tegan Rees and Lauren Gowen and we are very proud of them both.

Many congratulations to Anthony Pearce, Jacob Lloyd and Harvey Connolly who recently represented a victorious Welsh Academicals team against Llandovery College.

It is an honour for the boys to represent the Welsh Academicals; a team steeped in history, represented by 172 Welsh internationals and 60 British Lions since 1927. The talented trio now look forward to their next game against Millfield School in the New Year. Da iawn bois!

Warmest congratulations to Year 9 pupil, Seren Farrup, on being selected for the Boys and Girls Club of Wales Football team.  Seren is also captain of the Glamorgan Schools Academy team – quite a feat!

Best wishes to the choir who are performing in the Pendyrus Gala Concert on Friday evening.

Thank you to all who have contributed to the activities on 14th November – ranging from cake bakes to ‘I’m a Celebrity’ staff challenges.  So far the total stands at £766.85, with more to be collected!

Here are some members of the Rhondda squad on their way to a celebratory dinner in Cardiff.  The boys are Year 9 and 10 pupils and we are very proud of their commitment and success.
