A stunning performance on Saturday saw Cymer's 1st XV beat Treorchy Comprehensive 52 - 0 in a game that was stopped after just 50 minutes. Well done boys!

Warmest congratulations to everyone involved in yet another fantastic Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhondda production this year. To all cast members, staff and our supportive parents and families - our sincere thanks for your support.

Once again, our young peoples' talents were displayed to their fullest on stage at the Park and Dare Theatre. Llongyfarchiadau mawr i chi gyd!

We were very pleased to extend a warm and festive welcome back to our local dancers for another Tea Dance, held on December 4th. Many thanks to our Youth Worker, Sarah Stone for organising the event. We look forward to welcoming you all back soon!

 

Congratulations to Cymer's first XV on their win against Cardiff High on Saturday 17.11.12.

 

We were very pleased to receive a letter congratulating Year 8 pupil -Taliesin Evan-Jones, Vicky Rendell from Year 9 and Elis James, a Year 10 pupil on their contribution and behaviour during a trip to Germany, organised by the RCT Music Service team during half term.

Warmest congratulations and best wishes to Year 9 pupil Kieran Wallen as he begins his new role as the Mayor's Cadet. Committed Sea Cadet Kieran was selected in recognition of his commitment and work within the community. Congratulations Kieran!

 

Many thanks to Welsh under 20 Captain, member of the Blues Squad, and former pupil, for returning to school in order to take part in a special assembly to celebrate the achievements of the school's first XV.
