Pictured are a group of dedicated and determined Sixth Form studentsbefore they embarked on a recent 12 mile walk to raise money for Barnados. We would like to thank all students for their willingness towalk the extra mile and to Mr Howell for organising the event.

 

Year 7 pupils had fun building and launching their own rockets during this week's Science lessons.

Warmest congratulations to our Year 7 Netball Team on claiming first prize at the recent 'Sporting Marvels' tournament. This young, talented team secured the top spot after securing wins against eight other local teams.

Year 7 pupils enjoyed a double celebration this week as we celebrated St Davids Day and World Book Day on March 1st. Here's 7R having fun in the sun!

Further congratulations to talented Year 10 pupil Isabelle Davies, who represented the county at the recent Welsh Inter-County Championships held in Wrexham. The dedicated sports woman and her team secured a deserving third place spot. Well done Isabelle!

 

A group of Year 7 pupils were invited to Ysgol Llwyncelyn this week to take part in the crowning and chairing ceremony. Evie, Carys, Teigan and Macy wish to thank Llwyncelyn for their warm welcome and extend congratulations to Seren Farrup, who won with her biography of a bike, and Ella Cripps who won for her poem entitled ‘The Leap'.

 

The Wales, Europe & the World fair and exhibition was attended last week by some of our Year 9 & 11 pupils who participated in fun activities and workshops which focused on languages and the world of work.
