We were very pleased to welcome some pupils and their families from our feeder schools to Y Cymer on Thursday 20th December in order to celebrate excellent and improving attendance within the cluster during the term.

Congratulations to 7C, 8E, 9R and 10E on achieving the highest attendance percentages during the Christmas term. They were rewarded for their efforts with a Pizza party during lunch hour on Thursday 20th of December.

On Wednesday, 19th of December, we held a very special awards ceremony to recognise the contributions of our pupils to the E3+ programme.

Many thanks to our tireless Parents' Association for organising yet another successful raffle. Over £300 was raised.

Many thanks to all involved in another successful bag pack in Morrisons, Porth on December 8th. Our thanks also to Morrisons for their welcome and support and to all the shoppers for their generosity!

Congratulations to multi-talented Year 7 pupil, Seren Farrup, on being selected to represent South Wales as part of the Girls' League Football Team. Well done Seren!
