The Time to Change Wales Young People’s Programme is the first national pilot aimed at addressing mental health stigma amongst children and young people. YGCR has fully committed to the three year pilot programme. The event celebrates and highlights the achievements of the Time to Change Wales Young People’s Programme at a crucial time, as Government consolidate their plans for prioritising the mental and emotional wellbeing of children and young people in Wales

This week we will launch our new initiative to minimise our waste as we join forces with Terracycle, a company that collects empty crisp packets to recycle. There will be an allocated recycling bin outside the main reception to collect our empty crisp packets from Tuesday. Let’s all play our part!

Thank you to out Yr 7 pupils who took part in a recycling initiative this week, collecting re-usable plastic. Fantastic effort!

Congratulations to Renée Phelps of Yr 11 who travelled to Orlando, Florida, with her dance team – RSD, recently to compete at the World World and Cheer Championships. Renée, as part of Team Wales, most certainly put our nation on the map! Fantastic!

Here's Sam, Mackenzie, Tomas and Keane from Yr 8 with the 'Easter' Cup' they and their football team brought home from a football tournament held recently in Holland. Fantastic boys!

Congratulations to Year 8 pupil Logan Williams on winning a bronze medal at a recent British Boxing Championship. We are very proud of you, Logan!
